Verruca and Wart pictures : What does a wart look like
66What does a wart look like?
If you think you have a wart or verruca on your foot then you need to take immediate action to prevent further infection and eliminate the virus quickly.
Warts and Verruca are Human Papilary Virus They are viral infections that can be passed on to other parts of your body or to other people. Warts can appear on any part of your body but common spots are under the feet, on hands and on your face.
The warts survive because they feed of your blood supply so whilst they have a good feedinf access the warts will thrive and get bigger and more painful.
So how do you know wherever you have a wart?
Most warts appear like a cauliflower shaped callous, often with dark spots within the callous, they can be calloused with dry hard skin and can have sections just like a cauliflower or brain appearance.
When warts first develop they may appear like a pimple or small corn or blister but warts are very vascular which means they bleed easily, So if you soften the skin and file with an emery board if the area bleeds you most likely have a wart,
A verruca is also a wart but verruca are found on your feet only. Again look for a cauliflower appearance, or blister like pimple which doesnt go away or gets larger.
Action is required fast to prevent the wart getting bigger and spreading.
